FIFA won’t be just having an improvised look but also it will offer a completely new experience with a changed set up in terms of visual and gameplay viewpoint with the newly incorporated Frostbite engine. The basic change that the new engine is set to bring forth is the increase in the level of Competition. Apparently, the change in engine comes in response of Konmai’s Pro Evolution Soccer that had scored equally with FIFA on the Metacritic Scores for Playstation 4, the score being 82 in the 2015 series of both. Notwithstanding this, the 2016 sweries saw FIFA 16 with a score of 82 while PES 16 scoring a whopping 87. PES has been powered by the FOX Engine with better ball physics, environments and overall flow of action.
Big Expectations From The New Engine
The Frostbite engine can definitely help FIFA rise up the ladder, if it is used appropriately it can provide increased response and interaction during epic-sized online battles over exclusive maps where all objects interact to some degree.
The 11 to 11 battles of football will carry even more impact with the crowds and sideline figures appearing to be most noticeable enhancements which will make the games become even more livelier and close to real .
Weather effects are also another major focus of the engine. One would figure out depictions of rain, snow-flurries and even winds in FIFA 17. This year’s maiden version of FIFA on the new engine will have a major impact on the future of the franchise.
“Frostbite unlocks a whole new world of possibilities for the FIFA franchise and its fans,” remarked David Rutter, Executive Producer and VP OF FIFA. “We have never been as excited as we are today about the future of football and the experiences we are going to deliver in FIFA 17.
